Elizabeth Murdock Myers

Betsy Myers is a Corporate Partner at Verrill Dana, LLP. She has extensive experience in corporate, antitrust, and health care law, having represented both for-profit and non-profit corporations, hospitals, physician groups, and clinics before the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and State Attorneys General. Additional practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, complex contract negotiations, business tax planning, and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining Verrill Dana, Ms. Myers was a Corporate Partner at Hinckley Allen & Snyder, LLP. She also served as Executive Counsel to Governor Sundlun in Rhode Island.

Ms. Myers is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized in Massachusetts as a “Top Woman of Law.” She is included in “The Best Lawyers in America,” “The New England Super Lawyers,” and is recognized in Chambers USA.

She serves on the boards of numerous civic and charitable organizations, including Waterfire Providence, a Rhode Island-based arts organization, serving as the Chairperson for several years.

She received her BA cum laude from Kenyon College in political science and was awarded her JD from Case Western Reserve School of Law, where she was a managing editor of the Law Review.
