Emily Green

With more than a decade of experience in private and corporate investment banking, Emily Green is dedicated to helping women achieve financial strength and independence. For the past two years, she’s been the Head of Private Wealth Management at Ellevest, an investment firm focused on closing the gender-money gap, where she became the first financial advisor on their Private Wealth Management team.

Emily graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Economics in 2009 and went on to work for the financial services firm, Cantor Fitzgerald, in London for the following year. After moving back to the US, Emily then spent seven years at JP Morgan’s Private Bank as an advisor for high net worth individuals, families, endowments and foundations. It was here that she realized how much investment banking underserves women, so she decided to join others like her — who want to flip the script — at Ellevest.

Emily is also a steering committee member of the Young Patrons Circle at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City.
