Faria

Faria is a freshman at a university in Nevada, where she is majoring in public health. She works with #ICANHELP, a national organization focused on creating educational resources and curriculum for educators and students to promote civic engagement and positive relationships. In addition, she was a U.S. youth ambassador to Brazil through the U.S. State Department.

Faria joined Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board in 2021. She joined after witnessing disparities in health and education in her community. She is hoping to make effective change for children and women in her community and across the U.S.

In her free time, Faria likes to paint murals and skateboard.
