Jorge

Jorge is a sophomore at Oklahoma City University, where he studies political science. He has interned with Students for Justice, contacting eligible voters who have been purged from voting systems, and with the Regional Food Bank, working to tackle food insecurities.

Jorge joined Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB) in 2019. He helps interview and mentor youth who participate in the Youth Leadership Academy, and plays an active role in recruiting new members to the YAB. In addition, Jorge has represented Plan in an interview with Affinity Magazine, exploring the impact of COVID-19 on the LBGTQ+ community.
