Luna
Youth Advisory Board Member
Luna is a junior at a high school in Oregon. She plans to study environmental science and policy, as well as international relations. Luna is the founder and executive director of Effective Climate Action Project, an organization focused on increasing awareness of effective solutions to climate change through youth leadership and simulation workshops. She spent a year in Japan as a youth exchange ambassador with the Rotary International, where she gave an award-winning speech on climate change in Japanese.
Luna joined Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board in 2021 after she attended Plan’s 2020 Youth leadership Academy. She is passionate about including female voices in climate change and other important issues of our time.
