Youth Advisory Board Member

Malcolm is an undergraduate at Stanford University, where he is on a pre-medical track, studying human biology with a focus on global health. He is passionate about solving the most pressing global health crises through unconventional methods in public policy, medical technology and social entrepreneurship. At Stanford, he serves on the Global Health Student Council and participated in a 12-week entrepreneurial design-thinking intensive. Outside Stanford, Malcolm founded and serves as the executive director at EmpowerMed, a nonprofit strengthening the next generation of health care workers in Ethiopia.

Malcolm joined Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board in 2019. He has primarily focused on planning and developing the Youth Leadership Academy. He also works with Plan to engage boys through gender equality initiatives.
