Rohini

Rohini is a senior at a high school in Virginia. She is planning to study business with a concentration in finance. Rohini is the co-president of the Girls Leadership Committee at her school, an organization that supports and empowers women in their community. She is also the co-head of her school’s Equity Task Force.

Rohini joined Plan International USA’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB) in 2021 after she attended Plan’s 2019 Youth leadership Academy. Rohini has represented Plan on International Day of the Girl at a takeover of Viacom’s Executive Vice President of Ad Solutions role for a day in New York City. As an Indian immigrant she is passionate about helping girls and women in India achieve greater gender equality whole advancing women’s rights worldwide.
